Scheduled to coincide with Columbia’s Fourth Friday programming, Art in the Park features artists in a variety of media located in an open air venue. Stroll from gallery to gallery with a visit in between to Locust Street Park where you may view and purchase exhibited artwork or enjoy music from the Gazebo. Hours are 5:00 to 8:00 PM rain or shine. Light refreshments will be available for purchase. Artists interested in applying may print the 2012 registration form from the link below. You may also contact us to have an application mailed to you. For more information, call 717-684-5249. Please, no pets.

The gazebo in Locust Street Park, Columbia, serves as a quaint setting for our musical entertainment.	Artists lining the Locust Street side of the park catch walkers on their way to Jonal Gallery.

The 2010 event included a hands-on feature. Visitors tried their hand at the Japanese art of paper folding, better known as origami.	Art was plentiful and was beautifully displayed.

Artists had an opportunity to talk wth the Fourth Friday patrons who stopped by.	Various media were featured, including photography, pen and ink, and oils.

Mitch and Jeanne Cooper will serenade us again at the 2010 and 2011 Art in the Park events.	Shade at last. The summer heat did not deter patrons from purchasing works of art.
